  Available to the lucky few who grab one are cabanas on Disney Cruise Line’s private Bahamian island, Castaway Cay. The cabanas come loaded with lots of extra goodies in addition to a private, comfy, shaded and secure spot to spend your day. Cabanas come equipped with sunblock, soda, snacks, beach toys, floaties, bike rentals, and snorkel equipment rentals. You also have a personal attendant that will get you whatever you need at the push of a button. The cabanas area is accessible only to those that have these wristbands. Castaway Cay: Konk Cooler

There are a lot of really good reasons to go on a Disney Cruise, but one of them is to experience Disney’s private Bahamian island, Castaway Cay. On this magical dot of paradise in the Caribbean Sea has the most perfect tropical beverage Disney calls a Konk Cooler. I’ve been known to imbibe on a couple, so imagine my excitement when I found the recipe online (and then later discovered it was in my “Delicious Disney” cookbook)! If you aren’t a follower of the Disney Food Blog you really out to be. The drink is a tad ingredient heavy. Two types of rum are involved (dark and light, but definitely not spiced!). Also Pina colada mix, orange juice, and passion fruit juice. Pour ingredients (we did a double) into a cocktail shaker and serve over ice. How cute are the beaker measuring cups???
