Miss D Goes to Disneyland!

Miss D Goes to Disneyland!

Miss D took her very first trip to Disneyland recently. She hopes you enjoy her photo journal! Most trips begin at the airport. Miss D waits, somewhat patiently, to load her plane at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Safety first! Buckled up and ready for takeoff! After a flight in coach it’s always nice to stretch out in a private car. After all that travel a girl gets hungry! First meal of the trip was at Award Weiners inside Disney California Adventure! The first morning Miss D dined with several of her peers at the Plaza Inn inside the Disneyland park. We think Dale here had a bit of a crush on Miss D. Miss D enjoyed the grand view of the lobby of the Grand Californian Resort & Spa from a 3rd floor vantage point. Dinner this evening was at Wine Country Trattoria at Disney California Adventure. I had a milestone of sorts today. I finally bit the bullet and invested in some Disney Vinylmation. What is Vinylmation you ask? According to Wikipedia: Vinylmation is a brand of 1.5″, 3″, and 9″ vinyl collectibles sold at Disney theme parks, select Disney Stores, and the online Disney Store. The nameVinylmation is a combination of the word Animation and Vinyl.[1] The figures are all shaped like Mickey Mouse but have different themed markings, colors, and patterns. Vinylmation was first introduced in July 2008, and the first figures were introduced in November 2008.[1] I’ve been seeing these boxes at the Disney Stores, Disney Parks, and on the Disney boats for years now but never bought one. The idea of buying something when you don’t know what’s in the box is scary to me. And at $13 a box it’s a bit of a gamble.
